Ivy Kids Kit of the Month
Ivy Kids Kit of the Month
Subscribe by 10/30 to start with the October kit featuring the book Too Many Pumpkins by Linda White
This month’s Ivy Kids Kit is inspired by the humorous and heartwarming story Too Many Pumpkins, about a woman named Rebecca Estelle who dislikes pumpkins—until one accidentally grows in her yard and multiplies beyond expectation. Faced with an overwhelming harvest, she finds a creative and generous way to share the pumpkins with her community.
Included in the kit are over 12 hands-on activities that explore science, math, literacy, art, and engineering. With this kit children will:
- Play math and literacy games with real pumpkin seeds
- Create a pumpkin-shaped tissue paper suncatcher
- Plant pumpkin seeds and learn about the pumpkin life cycle stages
- Construct a festive picture frame for your favorite photo
- Complete engineering challenges with a mini pumpkin—such as building a raft or platform
- Design and build a catapult to launch a mini pumpkin
- PLUS SO MUCH MORE
Everything children need to read, play, create, and learn is included! This kit is packed with endless fun!
